Hastings' Seasonal Grille boasts food from scratch at prices competitive with chain restaurants

"Hastings' Seasonal Grille arose from a senior culinary school project come to life.
Owner Justin Straube, who previously managed Antonio's Mexican in Battle Creek and worked as a traveling personal chef, brought to life his senior project from Grand Rapids Community College -- where he received a degree in culinary arts and management -- with Seasonal Grille.
The Italian-themed restaurant, which opened in July, offers extremely competitive prices that beat out chains such as Olive Garden and prides itself on making nearly everything from scratch, including house-ground sausage and unforgettable desserts."
